New Diana FFA Ag Clays Event
What: Ag Clays Trap Shoot
When: Saturday March 25, 2023
Where: Buffalo Creek Trap Club, Ben Wheeler, Texas on Hwy 64 west of Tyler, TX
Check-in: 7am – 7:45am
Safety Meeting: 8:00am
Shooting begins: 8:15am
Format: This is a team competition based on the format of the Texas Ag Clays State Championships. Teams may be comprised of 3 or 4 shooters. Only the top 3 scores will count towards the team total. Each shooter will have 100 ATA targets, 25 targets on each of 4 rounds. Shotguns may not be larger than 12 gauge. Students provide own ammo, safety glasses and ear protection.
Team Awards: Plaques for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams & medals for team members in all male division and co-ed division.
Individual Awards: For 1st, 2nd and 3rd place high overall males and females.
Ties: Any ties for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place will be broken with a shoot off.
Entry Fee: $175 per team, individual shooters may enter at a cost of $50 per person. Entry fees can be paid on the day of the competition. Please make checks to New Diana FFA. Your entry fee includes ranges fees and lunch. Please contact us by March 20th, to let us know the number of squads and individual shooters you plan to bring.
Release forms must be presented at time of sign in for each shooter or shooter will not be allowed to participate.
Lunch will be provided by Fresh Country Fundraising !!!!

New Diana FFA Ag Clays Medical Release
I, OR WE, PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S) OF _________________________________
(Youth Participant) do hereby give our consent for Youth Participation to participate in all activities scheduled as part of the New Diana FFA Ag Clays Trap Shoot. We verify and represent that Youth Participant has received sufficient training under our coaches’ supervision to qualify Youth Participant to participate at this level in a safe manner. We acknowledge that firearms and live ammunition will be used as part of the event. We further give permission to coordinators of the even to disqualify and remove the Youth Participant for the event without refund in case of any major rule or safety violation.
I, We further give permission to have emergency first aid administered by any qualified person in case of illness and/or injury to Youth Participant and to have Youth Participant transported to the nearest physician or hospital to receive such treatment as is deemed medically necessary by the attending physician, without delay.
I, WE DO HEREBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE NEW DIANA FFA AND BULLALO CREEK TRAP CLUB, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES OR VOLUNTEERS FROM DAMAGE OR INJURIES OF ANY KIND SUBSTAINTED BY ME, YOUTH PARTICIPANT, OR ANY MEMBER OF MY FAMILY, ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION AS PART OF THE NEW DIANA FFA SHOOT HELD AT BUFFALO CREEK TRAP CLUB.
THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER INCLUDES CLAIMS FOR NEGLIGENCE AGAINST NEW DIANA AND BUFFALO CREEK TRAP CLUB, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES OR VOLUNTEERS.
